Custom Horshair Jewelry

Author: Richard Romando

The special bond that man shares with the horse is a glorious affirmation of the beauty of creation. In the words of Reiner Klimke, My horses are my friends, not my slaves. Truly, the bond between man and horse is a friendship of a lifetime.

One can explore new mysterious lands on horseback and know everlasting freedom and joy. Man gets a taste of heaven as he rides a horse. And the horse in turn receives from man his love. The man takes care of it, feeds it and plays with it.

Mans love of beauty is very profound and deep. Also he is very creative and has a great foresight. Combining all of these traits, horse lovers came up with custom horsehair jewelry. Its beautiful, and is made from the hair of the beloved horse. Its a way of keeping the memory alive long after the horse is gone.

Horsehair jewelry is beautiful to look at and is very easy to make. One can get it made from professionals. The hair can be collected either from the mane or the tail of the horse. All you have to do is to tie the tail hair with a rubber band, clip the required number of strands with a sharp pair of scissors and then store them in a clean plastic bag. The strands need to be at least 15 inches long for making a bracelet and 26 inches long for making a necklace. The braiding needs to be done by an expert.

So if you have a horse that you love, then get a beautiful piece of jewelry made from its hair. And you can take the memory of your pal where ever you go; it will always be there with you in form and youll always feel the freedom in your heart.
